Literacy DuPage is a community-based non-profit committed to providing educational support and instruction to adult learners in over 30 communities in DuPage County as well as for students enrolled in English language classroom instructions at College of DuPage.
Founded in 1972, their mission is to provide accessible and customized tutoring in reading, writing, speaking and understanding English to help adults achieve independence. They achieve this through their trained volunteer tutors who provide free, customized, learner-centered English language instruction in one-on-one or small group settings at a mutually convenient time and location for both tutors and students.
“RVP gave Literacy DuPage more than a fresh, meaningful identity,” stated Beth Nyland, Literacy DuPage Board Vice President and Marketing & Outreach Chair. “Through conversation, collaboration and creative iteration, they helped us clarify who we are and what we stand for—using both visual and verbal branding to set us apart and attract attention for our cause.”
